ONE FOOT EXHIBITION -About the Show
Every year at the TASA Annual Conference attendees are invited to participate in the TASA One Foot Exhibition. Submissions for this show must be limited to one square foot for 2D work or one cubic foot for 3D pieces.
CALL FOR ART HISTORY/THEORY PAPERS
We invite art historians, artists, art theoreticians, critics and philosophers to submit proposals that would be of interest to TASA members particularly topics that address environmental issues, or the concept of ‘pathways’ as interpreted by the presenter. We encourage the use of PowerPoint or other visual aids. Extemporaneous presentations are preferred over formal readings. Presenters have 30 minutes, plus a question and answer period at the end. Non-members who teach in Texas colleges and universities qualify for submission of a proposal by simply joining TASA ($30 individual membership).
PAUL HANNA LECTURE
The Paul Hanna Lecture exists to provide a forum through which a selected studio artist can make a presentation at the annual TASA conference. The lecture may include PowerPoint prefer and other visual aids. An honorarium will be awarded. A TASA committee will review proposals. Notices of acceptance and rejection will be sent. Non-members who teach art in Texas colleges and universities may qualify for submission of a proposal by simply joining TASA ($30 individual membership).
